
ASSEMBLY
A: Open a File Folder.
B: Attach a Fastener Divider to the right of the fold using the adhesive strip. A Pocket Divider may be used instead. If more filing surfaces are needed, attach additional dividers along the same seam.
C: Attach two Adhesive Fasteners, one on each side.
D: Attach one or more Business Card Pockets.
E: Label your folder with a Filing Label according to how it will be stored: on the long side for use in a file drawer, on the short side for use on a shelf. Filing Labels are included with File Folders.
ORGANIZATION
Use each surface of your Project Folder to file a different category of information. To attach your documents to the folder, two-hole punch the top and attach to the prong fasteners.
1: Project Overview sheet: Download free PDF. This sheet summarizes important project data for easy reference. It should remain visible.
2: Correspondence: This includes letters, notes and emails. As you file, place the newest correspondence on top.
3: Working documents: This includes reports, creative work, photos, or any other record of the project's progress.
4: Financial documents: This includes invoices, contracts, receipts, and other financial records. Add the newest documents to the top of the pile.
5: Business cards: Store the cards of clients, vendors or other contacts.
